Rifle is 14 years old.

Magazine spring was getting a bit weak so I replaced it with a new stainless steel spring.   grin

Before I rode over to shoot at Coal Car Kid's match a few months back I dropped in a short stroke kit.   smile

Between the magazine spring and the short stroke now the lever requires considerable more effort to lever the action.

Then I bummed up my knuckle.   The knuckle that rides on the lever.  A bit painful.   consored

The Hammer main spring is the 93 and 2/3rds pounds factory original.  Any Cowpokes have a recommendation on a lighten but reliable replacement main spring?

And no it ain't a option for me to Dremel the main spring into an hourglass.

I riding up to Buchanan, MI this weekend to shoot with Paul Puma's bunch.  I'd like to give those  Northerner's a run for their money!   laugh

For Sale - 45 Colt 200 grain RNFP bullets, sized to .452

I goofed.  I placed a order with and order 200 grain instead of 250 grain.

So my error is your gain.

$25 per 500 or $50 for the entire 1,000 bullet mistake plus shipping.  I'll be shooting with Wolff's Rowdy Rangers August 16th (check calender for location) for a face to face.

Chey Casting had the individual 500 round shipping boxes wrapped 100% with shipping tape and placed instead of another box but USPS still managed to break one of the 500 round boxes open.  That box may have only 499 rounds but for the prices....

If they are not sold then I'll just melt them down this winter and they will be recreated into 250 grainers.

I just got a set of Uberti El Patrons    smile  and want to put a set of Ivory (wantabe's) grips on them. Willing to drive a few miles to get er done.    riding   All help is appreciated!

Thanks in Advance,

Need a conversation starter to explain SASS ?

You know that the more people that participate in SASS the more Cowpokes at your local match?

The more Cowpokes at your local match the more Cowpokes to pick brass.

The more Cowpokes picking brass the lower the chance that y'all will have to!

Here's your opportunity for that conversation starter, acquire a collectable and show support for a local club.  A Wolff's Rowdy Rangers tee shirt.

These are being sold at cost.  If'n 25 ain't sold in the next 21 days, ain't no financial obligation on your part.  If'n 25 or more (in the next 21 days) are sold then your credit card will be charged and the shirt shipped to you in 7 to 14 days.

Please note that we will not be eating lunch on Saturday or Sunday until all 5 stages have been shot (but the stages are quick and easy and we only have 20 or less people on a posse this year as opposed to the normal 30) so if you think you will need to take something down range to eat prior to that, please plan accordingly.
Please remember to bring your aluminum can tabs (tabs only – not the whole can) that you have been saving up all year.  And also don’t forget the greeting card fronts from any old cards you might have laying around.  Muleskinner Mary will send those to the St. Jude Ranch for the kids to make new cards.
We will be using the ACES scoring system this year for this shoot (with paper back-up).  ACES is simple easy to use so if you do not currently know how to use it and you own an ipad or kindle, please download the program (it is free) and start playing with it.  If anybody would like a quick instruction on how to use it at the shoot, I can help you out on Friday – learning how to input scores will take about 5 minutes.  We will need a couple of people on every posse who know how to use it and I think we did that when we formed posses but having more than 2 on each posse won’t hurt so please ask if you would like to know how to use it.  And if you have an ipad and wouldn’t mind us using it for the shoot, please bring it along.
FOR THE LOCAL FOLKS:  As in past years, we are asking that the local ladies (or guys if you are so inclined) bring a dessert to set out on Friday night.
Also, for the locals:  I will be sending out a separate email to let you all know the work schedule for the week of the 19th of May.
If any of you have any questions about any of the above info, please feel free to contact me by email or give me a call at (563) 340-8288.
Thanks again so much for helping out the kids,
Shamrock Sis, T.A. Spurs, Dapper Dan, Ole #7, Muleskinner Mary, Cowboy Carty

Please note.  Some mapping databases think 933 N Calumet is in Valparaiso or the North side of Chesterton.  It ain't.  It's 3/4 of a mile south of the SR 49 exit on the Toll Road (I80/90).  Calumet Avenue is the old two-land SR 49 to Valparaiso.

Dillon CV-750 Vibratory Case Cleaner.

I'd guess it's about 10 old.  About 3years ago Dillon replaced the motor.

Outside looks like news.  Inside about average.

I'm switching to a Rebel 17 wet tumbler, the CV-750 is taking up needed space.

I prefer not to have the hassle of boxing and shipping.  I'll be at the monthly Wolff's Rowdy Rangers matches (Bristol, IN) , Saint Jude Charity match (Ohio) and perhaps at the Guns of August (Ohio).

$50 cash and the promise not to take ups against the South.
